Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment Details

·         The person named in the contact details section on the booking form is responsible for all fees due to Dreamzone Discos.

·          A non-refundable booking fee of £30 must be paid, within 14 days of receiving your booking form to secure a booking. The booking is not considered final until you receive a receipt from us for your deposit.

·         If a booking has been confirmed and Dreamzone Discos attends the function to find another service provider has been booked by the client, or any other persons, then the full fee shall be payable as per the agreement.

·         All outstanding monies to be paid prior to the event commencing (i.e. in cash on arrival).

·         Times and the venue specified at the time of booking will be adhered to in accordance with the contract.

·         Dreamzone Discos are happy to accept playlist requests. We will do our best to play these requests, provided they are received at least two weeks before your party and we can obtain clean versions of the tracks.

Cancellations

·         After confirmation of a booking cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the date of event. If this is not complied with, a fee of 50% of the total cost will be charged to the client. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will result in the full fee being charged.

·         In the unlikely event of us having to cancel, we will refund any monies in full. This will be the full extent of our liability.

Venue

·         Dreamzone Discos require access 1 hour before your party to set up and approximately 30 minutes to vacate the venue. If your party is delayed due to us not being able to gain access to the venue, or any other delay beyond our control, no liability will be accepted and no refund will be given.

·         Dreamzone Discos require provision for parking within a reasonable distance of the venue entrance.

·         It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the venue has a working, and safe, double 13 amp sockets (2 preferred) within a reasonable distance of where you require us to set up.

·         Dreamzone Discos will not be liable for breaches of byelaws, or conditions under which the venue is leased, hired, or entrusted to the client.

Health and Safety

·         It is solely the responsibility of the client to ensure the venue complies with all Health & Safety issues.

·         Dreamzone Discos will ensure that all electrical equipment used has been PAT (Portable Appliance Test) tested for electrical safety. The current PAT certificate will be available for inspection.

·          Dreamzone Discos is not responsible for any damage caused to the venue where the services are provided and is not responsible for any power outages.

·         A copy of our public liability insurance will be available for inspection. 

·          Dreamzone Discos reserve the right to cancel our services should we discover that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous, e.g. if the power provided is not capable of operating the equipment without risk of damage to the equipment, company or the public, or if the working environment constitutes a health and safety risk. If service must be discontinued for any of the aforementioned reasons, no refunds will be awarded.

Conduct

·         It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the good conduct of their guests. If at any time, before or during the event, we deem our persons or property to be under threat, we reserve the right to terminate our services with immediate effect. In these circumstances no refund will be made, and we reserve the right to claim damages.

·         The client will be responsible for any costs of any theft or damage, normal wear and tear excluded, to equipment (sound/lighting/music equipment) caused by anyone in attendance at the event during the contracted time period, including the time allowed for setting up and packing away, unless damage is due to Dreamzone Discos own negligence. The full cost of any repairs/replacements required will be charged to the client who will be advised of any damage as soon as it is possible.

·         The client will provide suitable supervision for children attending the disco. This may include assisting the DJ in the organizing of children during games played at the event (if required).

·         The supervising adult(s) will ensure that the children do not interfere with the disco equipment.

·          Dreamzone Discos agree to conduct themselves in a proper manner and respond to the reasonable wishes of the client as to the volume and location of equipment or other matters concerning people’s enjoyment of the event.

Miscellaneous

·         Dreamzone Discos is not responsible for obtaining any licence that may be required to stage the event. The client shall ensure that any such licences’ are obtained prior to the event. If they are unable to obtain this and need to cancel the event, please refer to the conditions above. A Public Performance Licence is required if persons attending your event are being charged an entrance fee. Therefore a licence is not required for private parties such as Weddings and Birthday celebrations.

·         Dreamzone Discos may take photographs before or during events, and these may be published for promotional reasons and/or published on its website, all copyright is held by us. If you do not agree to this, you must let the company know prior to your event.
